Procter Hall
Many community events are hosted by the Society in the hall (and in the schoolhouse playground during summer). There is a regular once-a-month calendar of events, including community potlucks, bingo, fairs, dances, Mother’s Day breakfast and plant sale, Father's Day social, Halloween and much more. The West Arm Pickleball Club (WAP) also operate regular classes and daily schedules in the hall. Contact Kim Palfenier for WAP 250 354 7868 or westarmpickelball@gmail.com The Hall has a capacity of 150 persons (120 seated) and is available for private bookings (see below for details). There is a very large stage with ample room for band set up and play performances. The hall is also a certified and approved Emergency Response Reception, Warming/Cooling and Lodging center. The kitchen is an IHA-certified commercial kitchen.
Hall Bookings

There are several options for renting the Hall.
OPTION 1 —Day rental fee—(weddings, reunions, etc., usually 1,2, or 3-day rentals).

Full payment due a minimum of 2 weeks before event day

$150 refundable damage/clean-up deposit due a minimum of 2 weeks before event

$200 for the hall for 1 day (24 hours), OR
-
$300 for 2 ½ days (1 day before for set-up, day of, 1 morning after for clean-up)

$50 for use of the kitchen

$25 linens laundry fee
OPTION 2 —By-the-hour one-off rental (birthday parties, meetings, after-school events)

$20 per hour for the hall

$50 for the use of the kitchen, ovens, etc., depending on use

Fee due minimum 2 weeks before the event
OPTION 3 —By the hour—Seasonal x number of times over a period (e.g., gymnastics 1x week for 3 months; pickleball 8 x a week for 3 months; after-school program for 1 month etc.)
